"Prayer Team that reaches across the world, via text or phone call. Then prayer request is sent to prayer warriors who go to intercessory prayer for that specific need."

"Helping Hands is a team that takes food to our church family when a immediate family member dies. Also a ministry that helps raise awareness to surrounding needs within the church so others can reach out to them."

 

MISSIONS AND EVANGELISM MINISTRY

Missions Board

"The missions board sponsor missionaries across the world who are taking the message of HOPE-Jesus to the harvest fields. A monthly offering and sponsorship of Missionaries are sent every 4th Sunday of the month. The mission team have helped build churches across the world, and sent Bibles to the Philippines as well as our monthly support for ISRAEL and ECUADOR as well as other countries." 


 

Street Ministry Team: Dean & Debbie Cassteveans

"Street Preaching every Friday at 12pm. Taking the message of Jesus to the streets in word and song. Thanks to Dean and Debbie Cassteveans for their faithfulness to this ministry."

"Adult Ministry welcomes all ages to further the work of the kingdom. This groups meets every 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 pm. They support several of the local Homeless Shelters, Hope House of Galax, Legacy Center of Mt. Airy and Hospice with monthly donations of items needed as well as serve as mentors to these agencies. They work hand in hand with the other ministries of the church to answer the call of being the "hands and feet" of Christ."

"Outreach Team is a ministry that organizes a RED Letter day every month for Outreach. They have organized services for the Homeless, Veterans, Military, Police, EMS, Fire-Dept and many others. They are a team that "looks" for ways to share the LOVE of JESUS to the surrounding community."


Bus Ministry

"Bus Ministry picks up people from surrounding areas and makes a stop at the homeless shelters every Sunday morning. Need transportation to church and live in the surrounding community call us. Bus runs every Sunday morning for the 10:15am Sunday School and 11am worship service. Thanks to our dedicated bus drivers and bus monitors-Kevin & Melanie Webb and Keith & Pam Edwards ministry wheels keep turning because of YOU!"


Food Pantry

"Food Pantry Ministry delivers food boxes to those in need. If you know someone in need of food just give us a call at 336-789-9511. Thank to Keith & Pam Edwards for their heart for this team and to all the MAFPHC who donate monthly food items and to surrounding agencies that have donated to our food bank. NOONE SHOULD EVER GO HUNGRY!" 


 

SPIRITUAL FORMATION MINISTRY

"Women's Ministry focuses on a small group setting of monthly meetings with our ladies; with devotion, prayer and friendships. This ministry supports Falcon's Children's Home in NC and our annual Christmas Party, Easter Fun for the Kids, Mother-Daughter Banquet, Women's Trips as well as baby baskets for expectant mothers and many other special things they do for those and others."

"Men's ministry is a group that meet monthly for devotion, prayer and fellowship. They focus on helping others in great need and sickness. On Saturdays you will find them building handicap ramps, repairing roofs and building rooms, cutting fire-wood, working on cars, as well as carrying brush. You name it and they've probably done it! They sell Christmas trees every year and all proceeds go to buy Christmas gifts for kids at Joy-Ranch Children's Home and Operation Christmas Hope! This is a ministry sharing the love of Christ and asking nothing in return.

Sunday Morning Small Groups

"Sunday Morning small groups are broken down into classes for Adults Class-June Crawford, Young Couples Class-Jason & Jessica Holdaway, Teens-Joey & Amanda Hearl, Preteens-Pam Edwards and Nursery- Brenda Duncan and Stephany Bowman. Coffee and Breakfast snacks are provided each Sunday. Thanks to Ronnie Duncan for his faithfulness and dedication each Sunday and his passion for Sunday School growth and his support to the teachers that serve with him."

 

WORSHIP AND MUSIC MINISTRY/Interpretive Dance Ministry
